HDR invites experienced EHS Specialists to join a multidisciplinary team providing environmental planning leadership at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. You will help shape a world-class educational and training environment for future military leaders by managing complex environmental compliance and planning projects on a multi-year contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage medium- to large-scale environmental planning and compliance assignments
- Prepare technical studies, NEPA documents, and permit applications
- Provide guidance, direction, and mentoring for project staff
- Coordinate public participation and agency meetings
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and field investigations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Air Force Civil Engineering Squadron
- Background check clearance and US Citizenship required
- Strong understanding of federal environmental policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or related field
- 10+ years technical or field experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication and analytical skills
