EHS Specialist

HDR invites experienced EHS Specialists to join a multidisciplinary team providing environmental planning leadership at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. You will help shape a world-class educational and training environment for future military leaders by managing complex environmental compliance and planning projects on a multi-year contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage medium- to large-scale environmental planning and compliance assignments
• Prepare technical studies, NEPA documents, and permit applications
• Provide guidance, direction, and mentoring for project staff
• Coordinate public participation and agency meetings
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and field investigations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Air Force Civil Engineering Squadron
• Background check clearance and US Citizenship required
• Strong understanding of federal environmental policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or related field
• 10+ years technical or field experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication and analytical skills
