Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain medical records for admissions, current residents, and discharges.
- Enter and update patient data in the computer system.
- Transcribe physician orders and ensure documentation completeness.
- Audit records for accuracy and completion.
- Facilitate proper filing and retrieval of records.
- Support discharge and ensure all documentation is finalized.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
- Experience in long-term care is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physician order processes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Positive attitude towards working with elderly and disabled individuals.
- Must be 18 years or older and able to perform essential job functions.
