Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient care, including examinations and treatment.
- Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs, and document medical records.
- Prepare treatment rooms and support administrative operations.
- Cross-trained to enhance clinical efficiency across multiple duties.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification/registration (CCMA, CMA [AAMA], NCMA, RMA) or completion of relevant MA program required within 15 months of hire.
- LPN candidates require an accredited program graduation and a current Ohio license.
- Medical assistants not certified at hire cannot administer medications or enter orders until certified.
- Clinical experience in a medical office and EMR usage is preferred.
