A radiologic technician maintains complex medical imaging equipment in accordance with a comprehensive medical equipment management plan. The role requires advanced technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a larger healthcare equipment support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair imaging and radiology equipment.
• Calibrate systems and perform quality assurance checks.
• Respond promptly to service calls and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain documentation according to safety and compliance guidelines.
• Mentor junior technicians and share technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in relevant engineering or electronics field with relevant experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience in imaging or x-ray systems maintenance.
• Advanced certifications preferred (AAMI, vendor-specific).
