Join a leading healthcare provider as a Regional MDS Consultant responsible for managing and supporting the resident assessment process across multiple facilities. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and quality care for all residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and complete resident assessments (MDS) at assigned facilities
  • Oversee Medicare assessment schedules and documentation
  • Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Train facility staff on Medicare eligibility and related policies
  • Provide consultation on coding, coverage, and case management for high-risk residents
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse license (RN)
  • 2+ years long-term care experience, 1+ year in MDS/Medicare required
  • Expertise in MDS software and documentation
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally (including overnight trips)
