About the job
Join a leadership team as a Regional MDS Consultant, coordinating and developing resident assessment processes to ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations across multiple locations. Conduct audits, provide training, and support facility staff with MDS-related activities in a dynamic healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit facilities to assess effectiveness of Medicare processes
- Audit and review MDS and documentation for accuracy
- Provide consultation and staff training on regulations
- Partner with therapy teams and oversee Medicare Part A/B utilization
- Prepare visit reports and participate in committee work
- Travel to facilities as required
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with multi-state licensure
- At least two years' long-term care experience, with MDS focus
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MDS software
- Strong leadership, organization, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
