About the Role
This position is responsible for providing technical and clinical support to respiratory care services throughout the hospital, maintaining a high level of skill and professionalism, and contributing to an inclusive, people-first workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical respiratory care services, including invasive/non-invasive ventilatory care
- Administer aerosolized medication, oxygen delivery, and breathing exercises
- Perform postural drainage, pulse oximetry, and bedside pulmonary function testing
- Maintain high standards of documentation, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Attend educational in-services and promote good public relations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active certification with the state of Texas preferred
