About the Role

This position is responsible for providing technical and clinical support to respiratory care services throughout the hospital, maintaining a high level of skill and professionalism, and contributing to an inclusive, people-first workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical respiratory care services, including invasive/non-invasive ventilatory care
  • Administer aerosolized medication, oxygen delivery, and breathing exercises
  • Perform postural drainage, pulse oximetry, and bedside pulmonary function testing
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Attend educational in-services and promote good public relations
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active certification with the state of Texas preferred
Work Setting & Culture
  • 127-bed facility, including 24-hour emergency, ICU, trauma, stroke, and maternity units
