Step into a leadership role as an RN Weekend Supervisor at a long-term care facility. This position is responsible for organizing and directing the operations of the Nursing Services Department during weekend shifts, ensuring high standards of resident care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing department operations on weekends
- Coordinate with other departments and resident services
- Develop and implement corrective actions when needed
- Complete and review medical documentation
- Lead compliance rounds and monitor resident care
- Guide admissions and manage urgent needs
- Supervise and support Nursing Assistants, Charge Nurses, and related staff
- Manage schedules and ensure adequate staffing
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license per Federal and State guidelines
- At least 3 years of nurse management or supervision experience
- Skilled in care standards and medical practice
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- Computer literate in electronic health records
