Join our team as a Treatment/Wound Care Nurse (RN) and provide specialized skin and wound care for residents at our York facility.
Role Overview
This position focuses on managing, treating, and preventing skin disorders under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and implement skin care and wound treatment plans
- Coordinate and perform regular skin rounds and evaluations
- Supervise wound care protocols and train new staff
- Collaborate with Care Planning Team and maintain detailed documentation
- Educate residents and caregivers on prevention and health maintenance
Qualifications
- Current RN license required
- Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred
- Wound care certification beneficial (willing to train/certify suitable candidates)
