The Surgical Technologist provides essential support in perioperative and surgical care, working closely with registered nurses and surgeons to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment. This role covers tasks such as preparing and maintaining instruments, ensuring aseptic technique, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical equipment and instruments
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques
• Assist surgeons during procedures
• Document procedures and instrument counts
• Collaborate with team members for patient safety
• Participate in ongoing education and training

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited or military surgical technology program
• Certification in Surgical Technology (required within one year of hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
